Our goal is to provide students with a variety of tutoring programs and learning tools. We strive to motivate each child, encourage them to take pride in their successes, and boost overall achievement.
Krambrooke has been providing tutoring services since 1999. We offer a successful and cost effective alternative to parents whose children would benefit from outside tutoring.
A variety of programs are available, from individual tutoring using the Orton Gillingham Phonics First®, to Homework Help and math, reading, and writing workshops. Krambrooke tutors also have a variety of assessment tools at their disposal, including:

Concept Work:
Concept Work Sessions focus on tutoring students in a specific subject based on their academic needs. Students may sign up based on a need for additional teaching in a subject, or because they require more advanced lessons. Sessions are available of all students in all grades and subjects, including but not limited to: Reading Writing Math Science/Social Studies Study Skills Test Preparation Concept work is offered at a 2:1 student/teacher ratio and is available in one-hour sessions. All sessions are documented so that parents may review their child’s progress.
Phonics First:
The Phonics First program is an Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching phonics and improving reading skills. The nationally accredited Phonics First program is an interactive, sequential, cumulative approach to reading and spelling that produces results. This program is individually designed to improve the overall academic skills of learners of all ages and abilities and is taught by staff trained through Reading and Language Art Centers (RLAC). Multi-sensory lessons engage help students to master sound-symbol relation and decoding skills. Computerized tracking helps to assess your child’s progress throughout the program. Phonics First is offered at a 1:1 student/teacher ratio and is available in one hour sessions.
Homework Help:
Homework help consists of teacher directed study sessions with an emphasis on homework completion, organization, and study skills. Students will come to each session prepared with classroom assignments that will be completed with the guidance of the instructor. Homework help sessions are available at a 5:1 student/teacher ratio in hour sessions.
